We‘ve recently acquired a number of excellent pieces to our equipment stock. Here’s a list along with a brief description. Give us a call to discuss how we use these new additions to enhance your next event

Lighting

VL2202 moving lights

MAC 600 & 500 moving lights

Chrome LED DMX uplighters (for accent/architectural effects)

Black LED DMX uplighters (for accent/architectural effects)

2 x Avolite ART 2000 digital dimmer

2 x Avolites Pearl moving light desks

4 x ½ tonne motors

4 x ½ tonne chain hoists

10 x Thomas Pixel Line 46in LED battens

60m Slick truss

We’ve also extended our range of generic ETC lighting with a range of Source Four Profiles, Source Four Pars and Parnels.

In recent months we have upgraded all our lighting to 16amp in accordance with forthcoming regulations

Projection

3 x Christie DS+8 projectors (8.5K ansi lumens; 3-chip DLP) c/w rigging kits
Great for when the venue’s heating system fails – and bright enough for the front 5 rows to wear sunglasses!)

3 x 0.73:1 extreme short throw lens (for those really tight venues!)

Data

1 x CAT 5 extender units for UXGA, RGBS, YUV, Y/C and CVBS & stereo audio with RS232 or infra-red pass-through for control with Dual Screen output. Basically, no need to run tonnes of cable – use this to send video and data signals down network cable – neat huh?

1 x “Super Computer”
This has been designed to work in conjunction with Joys wide-screen system 35HD Christie 16,000 ANSI lumen projection. The Spyder system controls very high resolution presentation graphics in a widescreen environment. So far we have produced 30ft and 60ft widescreen events – not for the faint-hearted!

1 x Kramer VP727 Universal Presentation Matrix Switcher
This really cool piece of kit is an 8-way switcher capable of accepting any type of video or data signal. It can be operated either as a dual bus (preview and TX) or as a seamless switcher. It can also scale imagery and provide PiP facility. It ships with DVI monitors for preview and TX.

Video

1 x 8 channel Portable Production Unit
OK, so we’ve had this a while but we like talking about it: it handles SDI, component, SVideo and composite; it is engineered with Hamlet and AVITEL DAs. A great piece of kit for mixing between live camera, video and graphics. Good stuff!

2 x Sony D50 cameras with Triax back ends; pre-engineered into our PPU (above)

Sound

8 x Shure Switchable UHF Radio Mic System. Our new range of radio mics are beautiful pieces of engineering; they can be used all round Europe where different frequencies are used. They can also use the more restricted frequencies in the UK , for greater show integrity.
