International Queen Fan Club Convention – Pontin’s Holiday Camp, Brean Sands

The event is specifically designed for die-hard Queen fans who have enjoyed a renaissance with the success of the West End musical “We Will Rock You” and the band’s tours last year with new lead singer Paul Rodgers. The event gives loyal fans a chance to socialise and catch up with all the latest band news and memorabilia.
Our long association with Arena Travel continued with their staging of the 22nd Annual Queen Convention. Arena Travel organised all travel and accommodation requirements and once again asked us to manage the technical and staging elements. As the event changed locations this year it gave us the chance to take a fresh look at a regular event in our calendar. The event covered a wide variety of activities including live bands, discos, karaoke and floor shows.
We provided a large screen for live camera relay, video, DVD and graphics. A sound system suitable for the many live acts and lighting rig ensured we created the right environment for fans to enjoy their music. Once again the Fan Club enjoyed a successful convention – here’s to next year!
